It’s finally here. A brand new year filled with stunning possibilities!
Just think the number of people out there today that are making resolutions. Resolutions to be healthier, quicker, kinder, more organised and more robust. If you happen to be one of those people, I’d like to suggest this to you. First and foremost, resolve to be kind to yourself. You deserve it.
Try to avoid making a list of all the ways you perceive yourself as lacking. Instead, try this…
Close your eyes and envision what you nailed today. What one little thing did you do that mattered.
You don’t have to be any more than you are. You are beautiful, you matter, and you are worthy.
I’m not implying that we don’t need goals, desires and dreams. Indeed, most of us desire to improve ourselves in some way.
But I’m here to tell you, on this very first day… a clean slate…it’s alright to take it and dwell on all the ways you show up.
Take a minute to take a breath. Say, “thank you” to the body that keeps moving, the heart that gives so much, the soul that has no end to the love it shares.
